Audiotech Healthcare Corp. subsidiary Canadian Hearing Care has opened a new full-service hearing care clinic in Victoria, B.C. The new clinic is located at No. 106 -- 1001 Cloverdale Ave., Victoria, B.C., V8X 4C9. Phone 250-380-2200 or toll-free 1-888-380-2202.
In conjunction with the opening of the clinic, Katherine Kottmeier, a hearing instrument specialist with 14 years of experiencing in the hearing health care industry, has joined the company's clinical team. She will be responsible for patient care at the Victoria clinic, including hearing assessments as well as hearing aid selection and fittings.
Commenting on the opening of the new clinic, Audiotech president and chief executive officer Osvaldo Iadarola said: "We have been keen on the Victoria market for some time now and are very pleased to announce the opening of a new full-service clinic to service southern Vancouver Island and the large number or retirees in the region who require ongoing audiological care. We have already commenced a very active marketing program in co-operation with our industry partners and we expect to begin helping patients next week."
Audiotech's management team remains committed to accelerating growth during fiscal 2007. Management intends for the opening of the Victoria clinic to be merely the first step in providing corporate revenue expansion this fiscal year. To this end, Audiotech has been actively engaged in discussions with respect to both acquisitions and the opening of new clinics. A number of these growth opportunities have advanced to a due-diligence stage. Acquisition and new clinic locations require a considerable time period for negotiation and due diligence in order to ensure accretive earnings and cash flow to Audiotech. Management is optimistic that the company will be in a position to reveal more growth initiatives shortly as its negotiations and due diligence progress.
