KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Audiotech Healthcare Corporation's (AUD:TSX Venture Exchange) proposed acquisition of a 25% equity interest in Lobe Purchasing Group Inc. (Lobe Regroupement d'Achats Inc.), hereinafter referred to as "Lobe," has been cancelled. Despite lengthy negotiations and the best efforts of both parties, it was mutually agreed late last night that it was in the interests of both parties not to proceed with the original agreement due to the complexity involved in introducing Audiotech's clinics to Lobe's purchasing network.

The parties have agreed to continue to examine means of working together in the future as there are indeed synergies that can be created by joining forces on specific projects. Management of Audiotech would like to thank the principals of Lobe for their time and energy and constructive input as the two parties endeavored to find a jointly beneficial means to conclude the acquisition.
